Botanical Medicine

Botanical medicine, or herbal medicine, is the therapeutic use of plants as medicine to support optimal health and healing in the body. It has developed in cultures around the world for thousands of years and is recommended by the WHO as an important system of medicine to promote health and mitigate disease.

In her practice, Lauren approaches the use of herbs in childbearing people with the utmost caution and draws from specialised knowledge and training to ensure safe and responsible use.

Naturopathy

Naturopathy is a system of medicine that promotes the body’s self-healing mechanism following Naturopathic Principles.

As a Naturopath, Lauren uses various diagnostic approaches in consultations to link symptoms with underlying causes including tongue analysis, iridology and pulse taking alongside orthodox techniques like blood pressure reading. The therapies she most commonly uses in her protocols include botanical medicine, nutrition, flower remedies, hydrotherapy, fasting, exercise, mind-body practices and detoxification.

Health Coaching

Health coaches use specialised techniques to help you identify lifestyle factors that might be standing in the way of good health and help you to set and achieve goals that will positively impact your well-being.

Lauren integrates these techniques into her consultations to empower her clients with the tools and mindset to create lasting change.

Corporate Wellness

Lauren works with businesses to optimise health, productivity and happiness through one-on-one consultations with employees, workplace wellness strategy and tailored workshops and presentations. She presents on a wide range of wellness topics including women’s health, managing stress and anxiety, and improving cognitive performance for clients including Stella McCartney.
